When you set up a company through Form My Company, we need to confirm the identity and home address of each director, shareholder, and person with significant control. This is a standard part of UK anti-money laundering compliance, and it also helps keep your new company safe from identity fraud. Here’s a quick-reference checklist of the documents we can accept.

Accepted Proof of ID

These accepted document types line up closely with the standards used for PSC identity verification at Companies House.

Accepted Proof of Residential Address
